Ostracism support groups
Recovering from Rejection - This is a support group for anyone recovering from any kind of rejection, real or perceived.
Severe Ostracism Recovery - This group is devoted to the support of those who are suffering from the effects of severe ostracism. You are especially welcome in this group if you have experienced severe ostracism and/or the effects of your ostracism/rejection have been long-lasting.
Ostracism Semi-Anonymous - Ostracism begets ostracism. Ostracized people sometimes end up ostracizing other people. People with low self-esteem are likely to use ostracism as a self-defense mechanism, and ostracize first before being ostracized, themselves. This is a Facebook support group for those who recognize that ostracism is one of the most hurtful, harmful behaviors inflicted upon other human beings, and no longer want to perpetuate it. In addition, The Twelve Steps Adapted to Ostracism may prove beneficial for some who find themselves ostracizing.
Christians Healing from Rejection - This is a support group for Christians recovering from rejection, and those comforting others who were rejected. People of any faith are welcome to join, of course. Topics here often trend towards a Christian perspective.
Do you moderate a support group for ostracism?
If you do, please contact me here or you can message me in Facebook. I'm looking for more groups to add to this page. It would be especially good to find groups of live people meeting in different areas of the world. Online groups are great, except there is no substitute for human connection and face to face contact.
